  • LifeAid will assist you in your time of need by providing referrals to your nearest medical facilities, General Practitioners, medical transport and health specialists.

Medical advice that you receive includes information on:

  • Blurred Vision
  • Ear-aches

Emergency Medical Assistance

  • Call LifeAid in a medical crisis, and we'll guide you through it with our experienced and professional medical staff.
  • LifeAid will organise for you to receive the medical support you need, when you need it most.

You'll be referred to the relevant crisis line in the following cases:

Medical Network

DISCOUNTED RATES FROM MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS NEAR YOU.

As a LifeAid member, you get a range of discounts from doctors, optometrists and dentists near you.

  • You have access to a national network of doctors, optometrists and dentists.
  • There will be no limits to the number of consultations.
  • The offer will be available to you as well as your extended family.
  • If you prefer to use your own doctor, optometrist or dentist, LifeAid will contact the relevant practitioner and ask them to join the network. You can then use your preferred health care professional, and still receive the relevant discount.
  • Doctor’s National Network
    You will receive a 20% discount on consultation fees only. Unfortunately, this does not apply to any medicine.
  • Optometry National Network
    You will receive a 10% discount on consultation fees, lenses and frames. The optometry network offers you three package deals as promotions during the year:
    • Offering 1: Single vision – R599, Bifocal – R799, Multifocal – R999
    • Offering 2: single vision – R899, Bifocal – R1 199, Multifocal
      – R1 599
    • Offering 3: Single vision – R1 299, Bifocal R1 799, Multifocal
      – R2 400
  • Dentist National Network
    You will receive a 10% discount on consultation and basic dentistry.

Procedure for making an appointment

You will need to contact us to check on the availability of a relevant practitioner. E.g. “Please call 0801 118 826 and select Option 3 to find a doctor, optometrist or dentist available in your area.”

  • We will provide you with details of the relevant practitioner and will also offer to make the appointment on behalf of you.
  • We will contact the practitioner and secure a convenient time & date for you.
  • We will contact you to confirm this appointment.
  • Once confirmed, we will then make the appointment.
